Several years ago a friend of mine gave me my first antique tube radio. With the help of Bob Smith W6GR we repaired the radio and made it work. After I retired my wife and I took several RV trips to Kansas to see our daughter Kari KB6EEK. We started stopping at Antique stores on the side of the road. I found some interesting old tube radios, most were from $20.00 to $30.00. I picked up a few every trip and have about 10 old radios now. I do not restore them completly but do recap all before turning them on. So far all have worked after the recap and some minor repairs. I am posting my collection on this page. Most of my info comes from http://www.radiomuseum.org/. I am a member because you can find a lot of needed information when working on the old radios.
